We're Bloggin Now!

So, today I got this call from Dustin in North Carolina, totally out of the random blue.

You see, even though I leave my phone number on my websites, no one ever really calls me. It's just kind of out there for business people who want to chat about boring crap and banner ads and not much else.

At first I was worried maybe it was a prank call of some kind, being recorded to mock me, because for some reason at certain places I have a lot of people who don't like me. But, thankfully that wasn't the case.

Dustin said he found my site off of Jake Lodwick's blog, and that he shows his friends my videos and all this fun stuff. It's stuff like that that really makes me feel like these silly little projects are actually affecting people's lives in some kind of positive way. Even if it's just a grin and then they forget they ever heard or saw me. I need those little boosts to keep feeling good about things.

It also reminded me I never update this frickin' blog and I probably should.

So, what's going on? I just finished Syrup Amok 2, which is over on Filmfights and the main onetrick page. As with all my movies, I assumed everyone would just think it suck and pale in comparason to the first, but so far the reviews have been favorable. Always a relief. It's hard for me to judge what I make without being excessively critical.

This past weekend my friend Putnam who runs gbstv.info came down here from Georgia and we all went to Disney. (pictures at my flickr account) It was a grand time, and I actually found myself falling in love with the corporate magic of the place. The old rides were especially fun since everything looked so lovingly hand crafted. And almost all of them broke down too - awesome!

I think I got miserably sick there though, we were walking around for round about 12 hours and it took a toll on my fragile body. Now I'm sniffling and sneezing and sore all over. Luckily Marissa is here to keep me alive and kickin'.

We're both flying up to Wisconsin for Christmas, Marissa will probably perish because it'll be awfully cold and she's just a little sunflower, born and raised in Florida. I don't like the cold much myself, but seeing my friends and family with my lady shall be wonderful. Better than just going up alone and leaving her to rot, and get sun tans back here.

Okay, 1 am, I need my sleep so I can be big and strong.
